UKCA Solving Chess Challenge Moving to attempt a new Guinness Record! (Newcastle, Nov 20, 2016)

With the Overwhelming support and experience of the Children getting into Solving Chess Challenge with the Giga and Tera-finals.

For the first edition: We had more than 250 entrants, with more entries from 7 to 10 years. It is a good start. We have now learned a lot from both the Online  and hands-on engagement competitions.

Now, it is time to move on with the next challenge: 

Entry fee: Just £5/- (All participants receive a certificate for participation / Completion)

A new Record Making challenge on the 20th of November, on the occasion of 800 Year of Mayoralty and Freemen in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

The Online competition positions will be downloadable from our website: Only 800 invitations! So rush to enter.

The solution can be entered through “Menti.com” – We will send you the token number once you register:

” Of course, they are Multiple choice Solutions to guide problem solving”, so it is easier to manage!

A participation certificate for all children.This will be signed by the Organisers.

A Completion Certificate for constructively spending a minimum of 1 hour for working out upto 30 Chess problems ( Classics to Computer Generated), getting 60% of the problems attempted and 50% of those solution correct.

This will be signed by Mike Basman, Sainbayar and the Organisers.
