ABOUT UK CHESS ACADEMY

Established in 2011, the UK Chess Academy (UKCA) was founded with a clear mission: to nurture chess talent across the UK by providing high-quality coaching, structured training, and a lifelong love for the game.

We are proud to operate the UK’s first dedicated chess venue open seven days a week, located in the heart of Earlsfield, London. Our space is designed specifically for chess — a welcoming environment for players of all levels to learn, grow, and compete.

UKCA is a family-run academy, led by Mr Sainbayar Tserendorj — an International Organiser (IO), International Arbiter (IA), and FIDE Senior Trainer (FST). With decades of experience, he personally oversees all chess events, tournaments, and training programmes. His daughter, Amu Sainbayar, manages our digital presence, IT systems, and social media, helping connect our community online and beyond.
